Hey there, bumble bee

I've always thought the name "bumble bee" to be extremely cute. The way it sounds, you just want to hug it. Well, not the bumble bee itself, just the word. Anyway, I went out to shoot some photos of a woodpecker (wich is an adorable word as well) but who knew those birds were so little photogenic! So I shot some photos of bumble bees instead. Cutecutecute. What, am I weird for thinking an insect is cute? Well, yeah...

Random photos for a random day

What do you do when the weather is a mess, almost all your friends are out of town and the ones who aren't don't want to photoshoot with you? Well, you read. Drink berry-smoothies. And of course you fool around with the camera.

Charity for free

Just want to tell you about these two sites I've just discovered. They're both free and just by joining them you can do so much.

The first one is click to give. This is a site where you can, just by clicking a button, join the fight against breast cancer, stop animal abuse and help children in need. The money is given by the sponsors, wich makes it absolutley, 100 percent free for you.

The second site is Give a damn. This is a site fighting for homosexual and transgender equality, and is really really great. And if you are like "Oh, I can't join, I'm straigh" then that's no problem. This page is every bit as much for straight people as for homosexuals. Maybe even more. This is a great way to learn about the fight for equality all over the world, and showing that you "give a damn"

No, I'm not being bribed in any way for writing this. These are just really great pages that deserve some attention. Join them, you have absolutley nothing to loose.

Short story: Bodies

So, here's the short story I promised you guys. It's sort of weird, I know. But I think I kind of like it. Well, here it goes.

Bodies

Eyes express everything, they say. The window to ones soul. Every single emotion, even if it's kept from showing on the rest of the face.

But have you ever looked someone in the eye and seen absolutley nothing? Not a single emotion, even if it should be present? Some people have these blank looks, and that's when you know it's a body with no soul. Nothing but carefully copied words and learnt reactions. Even if it's terribly painful, you know you'l have to cut it of before this body, 'cause that's all it is, makes you as empty as itself.
That's the thing with there bodies, there's a void within them that needs to be filled, and parts of your soul will serve this purpose perfectly. And then you're one of them: A body, nothing but a shell. And your soul, wich was torn into millions of pieces, will fight to survive within that other body.
All because you loved the girl with those empty eyes. Ah, such a cruel twist if life.

Rainy day, please stay #2

Another couple of photos from yesterday. Although I must say I like photographing people better than plants, this whole raindrop-thing was pretty fun. Not so much the part of taking th epictures, but the editing part of it and the result.
Anyway, I promised a short story for yesterday, but I'll post it later today instead.

Blendertalk

I was going to have this whole cool photosession today, but instead I went out to buy myself a new blender. I practically live for smoothies, I mean is there anything as good as a cold blueberry smoothie on a hot sunny day? Ah, love it. I'll show you my new blender tomorrow when I upload the photos, ok? Yes, I know you want to see it.

Wow, was that a whole paragraph about a blender? Cool. Well, I will try to snap you some photos for tomorrow, but I'll be trying out some new stuff so I'm not promising anything. Or I might actually sit down and write a proper blog post, wich I have yet to do on this blog.
No, hey, I know what! I'll post a short story I wrote a couple of days ago.
Soo, prepare for the awesomness that's coming your way, guys! (Hahahahha, yeah right.)

Norwegian Sunset

I've had a dozen things to write about today. And I've been pleased with the starting sentences of every post I've been trying to write. But then, I don't know why, I just seem to snap out of it. Like the thoughts I was trying to phrase aren't mine anymore, or like I just happen to realize that it's not a good subject anyway. Annoying much? Think so.

Damn, I just did it again. (Is this the part where I post that Britney-song? Erhm, yeah. Sure...)
Well whatever. Obviously it's not a very good idea for me to write you something meaningful today. Instead I'll just post a picture i took the other day. Well, that's a smart girl, Anne. Why didn't you just think of that right away? Urhm, yeah. I don't know.

Beach, baby #2

Here are some of the photos Maria shot of me while we were at the beach. Not quite sure what I think of the seccond one, though. It just seems as if something a slightly off. Or it might be my editing, I don't know.

Happy Bee

I'm happy. I mean, not like "oh wow, she must have won the lottery today"-happy, but fairly happier than just "content-happy". My paycheck arrived today, you see. And with it around 60 pounds more than expected. So, yeah, I'm happy. I might go buy myself some chocolate later on, the ultimate "happy-snack." And yes, I do have happy-snacks and happy-food.

But there is another reason I'm so happy today. Some key words are London, autumn break and Maria. That would be so awesome, wouldn't it? (Haha, I have just posted two things here yet and already it sounds like Maria is my only friend.)

Well, I got to tootle of. I'll be posting some more photos from the beach-shoot tomorrow, so stay tuned. (Or whatever expression might be used in this context, this was just the best I came up with right now.)

Beach, baby #1

Some photos of gorgeous Maria at the beach yesterday. The weatherforecast had promised us sun, but we only got a few rays before the clouds went all grey on us. I am, however, actually quite pleased with the result of the photoshoot. I might post some of the other photos later, both of me and her.
